Sometimes the most accurate description of a gaming session is that four reasonable adults have spent twenty minutes arguing about a controller. Joystick Takes is our home for original humor, playful essays, and opinion about games and collecting. These pieces are labeled accordingly; they are not reported news or claims that every reader shares the same memories. We like the small rituals of the hobby: overly ambitious shelves, improvised multiplayer rules, and the sincere belief that one more round will somehow take less time than the previous five. Read a take between the hardware and collecting guides, and keep the useful parts of the hobby close enough that the logistics never become the whole experience.
