The terms for using Joking Joystick’s publication and account features.
These terms apply to JokingJoystick.com. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to use it consistently with these terms and applicable law. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
The publication
Joking Joystick provides editorial material and reference information about games and collectibles. Content may include research, opinion, humor, and AI-assisted material as described in our editorial policy. The site does not guarantee that every fact is complete or current. Report errors through the corrections process.
Guide entries and buying advice do not authenticate a specific item, guarantee a grade, or promise a future price. Transactions with external sellers are between you and those sellers. Verify an item, seller, terms, and compatibility before purchasing.
Accounts
Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials private. Do not impersonate another person, share access to an administrative account, or use the site to harass others or distribute unlawful material. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Tell us if you believe an account has been compromised.
We may limit or suspend features or accounts to address abuse, security issues, or material violations. You can delete a standard account through its account controls. Newsletter unsubscribe is a separate action because subscription records are separate from account records.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site availability, bypass access controls, overload the service, exploit uploads or forms, or use the site to distribute malicious code. Automated use must respect published access restrictions and reasonable technical limits. Public availability does not grant permission to misuse private features.
Content and permissions
Original editorial material and site branding are protected as applicable. Third-party game names, characters, logos, and other marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Messages and contributions
A contact message grants permission to use it to respond to and assess the inquiry; it is not an automatic publishing agreement. Publication rights, compensation, attribution, and scope for commissioned contributions must be agreed separately.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise uninterrupted availability or accept liability for indirect losses arising from reliance on editorial content or external transactions.
