Build a collection you understand, enjoy, and can look after.
Collecting gets easier when you can explain exactly what you own and why you want it. This section covers the practical side of video games and memorabilia: contents, condition, editions, storage, and the questions to ask before buying. A rare label is not a substitute for evidence. A shiny case does not prove the disc works. And an asking price is only an asking price. Our guides help turn those distinctions into repeatable habits, from taking useful condition photographs to writing a collection inventory. Begin with loose versus complete-in-box terminology, then choose the preservation or buying checklist that fits your collection. We leave current values blank when we cannot support them with dated, comparable evidence.
