Joking Joystick aims to make its articles and reference pages usable across devices and assistive technologies. Readable typography, meaningful headings, visible keyboard focus, descriptive links, labeled forms, and text alternatives for informative images are part of that approach.

Our reference standard

We use the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as a reference for improving the site. This statement is not a claim of independent certification or full conformance with every requirement. Automated checks and a small set of browser tests cannot establish that every user can complete every task.

Report a barrier

Use the contact form with “Accessibility” in the subject. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, what happened, and any browser or assistive technology details you are comfortable sharing. A short explanation of the desired result is especially helpful.

If an external link or security check creates a problem, identify that step as specifically as possible. Third-party pages and services may be outside our direct control, but knowing the barrier helps us assess the surrounding flow.

Ongoing improvements

Accessibility is part of maintaining a publication. New templates, forms, and content can introduce issues, so reports are useful even when an earlier version of a page worked. We will assess reported barriers and prioritize practical fixes. We do not promise a fixed resolution time for every issue.
