Hardware, collecting, and playing guides for Nintendo 64.
Nintendo 64 collecting begins with deceptively simple hardware: a cartridge, a controller, and a television. The details still deserve attention. A comfortable stick, the right save accessory for a particular game, and a tested display connection can make the difference between a pleasant return and an evening spent troubleshooting. This hub approaches the platform as something to play and preserve. Start with the used-console checklist, then learn how to describe cartridge and box condition precisely. Games deserve to be chosen for the experiences you want, whether that means quiet exploration or the diplomatic incident known as four-player competition. Our reference pages identify editions and sources, and our buying advice avoids treating every old cartridge as a guaranteed investment.
