Minor mission and location spoilers follow. Marvel’s Wolverine has 21 whiskey bottles tucked across its campaign, and Logan’s nose is doing more than indulging his taste for a dramatic drink cabinet. Every bottle collected awards two Adaptation Points, making the full set worth 42 points toward Adaptations. Collecting all 21 also unlocks the Midnight suit.
Each bottle has a scent trail leading to it, but that does not make every one painless to locate. Trails can be easy to lose amid a crowded objective area, and a handful of bottles require a detour through breakable barriers, roofs, vents, balconies, or a code-locked door. The Whiskey Finder Adaptation exists, but the route list below should spare players from turning every mission into a full-scale smelling expedition.
The bottle labels are also a compact Wolverine comics tour, pulling from aliases, famous storylines, personal history, and a few wonderfully strange corners of Logan lore. If you are also preparing Logan for the brawls between scavenger hunts, see the Techniques worth unlocking first in Marvel’s Wolverine.
Every Marvel’s Wolverine whiskey bottle, in campaign order
1. Homecoming — Uncanny Whiskey
This is the introductory freebie: finding it is part of the mission. Follow the scent into Logan’s cramped store-cupboard bedroom, where the bottle is directly ahead. Its Uncanny label nods to Uncanny X-Men.
2. The One That Got Away — Incredible 181 Whiskey
Early in the mission, while tracking Jean Grey, Logan jumps from a building and examines ground marked by her purple telekinetic effects. Pick up the trail, then turn right toward the boarded garage. Break the wooden covering and check the tool trolley for the bottle. “181” refers to Wolverine’s debut in The Incredible Hulk #181.
3. Raise Some Hell — Cold Lake
At the courtyard with the yellow crane and Nightmare Door, follow the trail in the direction of the grey brick wall. After passing the containers, turn left. Break through the yellow door on the distant wall and enter the recreation room to find Cold Lake. The name points to Cold Lake, Alberta, Logan’s hometown.
4. Strays — Blood Debt
Inside Walter’s laboratory, go to the far-right side of the room. Blood Debt sits on a metal workbench beside a table. The label references the Wolverine storyline of the same name.
5. Something Much Stronger — Not Dead Yet
Follow the river against its flow into a cave. Climb the rocks on the left side, then look on a wooden crate for Not Dead Yet, another comics-storyline reference.

6. Knock Knock — Tenth Man
After destroying the signal relay and emerging from the rubble, follow the scent immediately to the damaged building on the right. Climb the slab marked in white paint to enter. Tenth Man is on the long counter inside. The name is a likely wordplay reference to Logan as an X-Man—X being 10 in Roman numerals—and may also allude to Weapon X as the tenth Weapon Plus program.
7. Mutant Detected — Fist of Legend
Near the end, after the propulsion tunnel, follow the objectives into the facility until reaching an open work area filled with forklifts and large containers. Turn left at once. A breakable wooden crate obstructs access to a locked door and its keypad. Enter 5413, enter the small lab, and follow the trail to a floor grate. Use it to enter the vent, move through, and climb out at the other end. Fist of Legend is waiting on the lab counter. It references one of Wolverine’s aliases.
8. One Last Mission — The Old Man
Follow the mission to Sabretooth on the Princess bar balcony. During the arm-wrestling argument scene, Logan sets Sabretooth’s bottle on the railing. Pick it up as soon as the scene ends. The Old Man appears to reference Old Man Logan, an older Wolverine from a world ruled by supervillains.
9. Get Angry — Patch
Within Jean’s Japanese-bar vision, go to the far end of the bar and take the stairs down. Follow the basement corridor and scent to the right into the bathroom. Press Triangle to make the unsettling kissy-headed figure move; doing so also earns a trophy. When it retreats, grab Patch from the shelf. Patch is Logan’s Madripoor alias and is also represented by a wearable suit.
10. Bad Blood — Fatal Attractions
While climbing the unfinished building en route to Shiro’s penthouse, Logan eventually enters the structure and breaks through two yellow grate doors. Continue straight, drop down beside the material crate, then trace the scent around to the right. Climb to the next ledge to find Fatal Attractions on a crate covered by a blue tarp. The name comes from the prominent 1990s X-Men comic event.
11. In the Shadows — Best There Is
After eliminating the second mutant detector, return to the roof and face the final detector cluster. Drop to the lower roof in front of it, turn right, and jump to the balcony beside electronic billboards on the tall blue building. Best There Is sits on a small table. It takes its name from Wolverine’s best-known boast about being the best at what he does, even if what he does is not very nice.
12. In the Shadows — Berserker Brew
The second bottle in this mission is much simpler. After Logan meets Jean and the pair enter the Hand’s secret party, look at the tables in the first room. Berserker Brew is there, apparently celebrating Wolverine’s berserker rage rather than a specific comic title.
13. Death Comes to Death — Hand of God
Follow the mission from the start and the scent route eventually rises into a maintenance-style passage. Hand of God rests on a tool trolley on that route. Its label refers to a Wolverine story involving the possibility that Logan was, or was linked to, a Hand of God sent to punish the Ba’al-worshipping people of ancient Gehenna.
14. We Were Wrong — Revolto
After speaking with Essex, track the Hand mutant carrying the Helix Engine. At a T-junction, there will be a white truck on the left. Go around to the truck’s rear, where Revolto is sitting on cinderblocks. Revolto the Clown is the persona Logan takes on after being brainwashed into Frankenstein’s Monster’s Murder Circus in the comics. Yes, Wolverine continuity has range.
15. Hell Followed With Him — Itsu Single Malt
During the cliff climb, Jean catches falling boulders telekinetically so Logan can use them as climbing steps. Once on the wooden walkway, move forward and find the white cloth hanging over the right-hand railing. Hop over at that point to reach a lower cliff ledge. Follow the scent down to a barrel holding Itsu Single Malt. Itsu is Logan’s Japanese wife in the comics.
16. Way Down Low — Wild Canadian
After opening the lockup, follow Jean and use the crane hook to zip up to a roof. Immediately turn left at the top and step onto the narrow balcony attached to the turquoise building. Follow the trail around the corner for Wild Canadian, a straightforward salute to Logan’s Canadian roots.
17. Way Down Low — Little Uncle
Once Jean uses the microphone to rally Lowtown, follow her across the zipline and climb onto the roof with the Nightmare Door. Leap to the lower roof beyond it, then take the scent down the stairs to a balcony. Little Uncle is on a table. Natasha Romanov uses “Little Uncle” as a nickname for Wolverine in the comics.
18. Roll the Dice — Blood and Bourbon
At the party, go upstairs and circle around to the bar. Press Triangle when prompted to stand there for a drink. Logan pockets Blood and Bourbon automatically as part of the interaction. Its name seems less like a direct comics callback and more like an extremely Logan combination of preferences.
19. Field Test — Captain Terror
After the flying Sentinel pursuit, the car impact, and the warehouse Sentinel fight, leave by the upper door as the objective directs. On the way toward the fish market, look left: Captain Terror is plainly visible atop an air-conditioning vent. Captain Terror is Dan Kane, a Marvel character Wolverine once impersonated during a time-travel mission.
20. I’m Still Here — Ol’ Canucklehead
Following the first MK2 Sentinel encounter, travel along the brief winding rubble path until it splits. Choose the left branch. Pass through broken walls in the turquoise building, continue down the route, then use the large opening in the pink wall on the left to enter the Princess bar. Go upstairs and continue forward to the table holding Ol’ Canucklehead. “Canucklehead” combines the Canadian “Canuck” with the familiar insult, which is about as affectionate as Wolverine nicknames tend to get.
What completing the set gives you
With 21 bottles at two Adaptation Points apiece, this collectible route awards 42 Adaptation Points. More importantly for completion-minded players, the final pickup unlocks the Midnight suit. Several are virtually on the critical path, but the most easily missed diversions are generally the boarded garage in The One That Got Away, the locked lab in Mutant Detected, the roof balcony in In the Shadows, and the cliffside drop in Hell Followed With Him.
One important count check: In the Shadows and Way Down Low each contain two bottles, while the other listed missions supply one. If the total is stuck at 20, retracing those two multi-bottle levels is a sensible first move—before Logan decides the only reasonable solution is to redecorate every building with claw marks.
