What’s TankRat about?
TankRat is a single-player adventure set in a dying wasteland where organic life has largely given way to steel. The land is inhabited by swarms of corrupted mechanical monsters, turning survival into a constant struggle against hostile machines and the harsh remains of a collapsed world.
Its central loop revolves around searching, destroying, scavenging, and dismantling. Parts recovered from defeated mech-monsters can be used to rebuild and alter the player character, making collected wreckage a direct part of progression and identity. The objective is to endure the desolation and reach Highpoint, with the game’s premise emphasizing adaptation: what you salvage determines what you become.
