What’s Metroid Ravenous about?
Metroid Ravenous casts Samus Aran as a bounty hunter stranded on an unfamiliar moon after an ambush by unknown attackers. With danger surrounding her and no clear route forward, she must explore the moon’s maze-like corridors, uncover its threats and rebuild the arsenal needed to survive. The adventure combines platforming, shooting and exploration in a solitary campaign.
Combat is built around fast, forceful attacks using beams, missiles and other weapons. Samus also has newly awakened Metroid instincts that let her devour defeated enemies, adding an aggressive twist to encounters and reinforcing the game’s struggle between hunter and prey. Progress involves pushing deeper into the environment, gathering new tools and confronting powerful bosses. The result is an action-focused journey where careful navigation matters, but hesitation can be just as dangerous as the creatures blocking the way.
