What’s Grave Seasons about?
Grave Seasons combines role-playing, simulation and indie storytelling with a supernatural murder mystery. Players become the new farmer in Ashenridge, where ordinary rural activities take place alongside a series of troubling killings. The daily routine includes planting and harvesting crops, fishing, mining and helping to develop the local community, but the peaceful surface of town life conceals a darker investigation.
Meeting the residents is central to the experience. Players can form relationships with townsfolk, pursue romance and learn more about the community while deciding how to respond to the murders. These social connections sit alongside the practical work of building a farm and improving Ashenridge, creating a contrast between comforting routine and supernatural danger. As a single-player RPG simulator, Grave Seasons presents farming, community life and mystery as interconnected parts of one unsettling story, with the possibility of uncovering what is happening before further violence takes place.
