What’s God of War Laufey about?
God of War: Laufey shifts the focus of the series to Laufey, also known as Faye. After awakening in a strange afterlife realm following her death, she sets out to protect Kratos and Atreus. Her route leads through the Everywhen, an afterlife of the gods where deities from different mythologies compete for power, creating a supernatural conflict that reaches beyond a single tradition.
The game combines adventure and role-playing elements with hack-and-slash combat. Faye fights with a sword and uses magic as she travels through this unfamiliar realm, while new supporting characters accompany and shape her journey. By placing her at the center, the story explores a different perspective on the world of God of War and presents a hero whose goals are driven by protection, survival, and discovery.
