What’s Croak about?

Croak is a precision platformer built around quick movement, careful timing, and a distinctive grappling ability. You play as a prince who uses his tongue to latch onto surfaces, dash through hazards, and bounce across challenging sections. The tongue is more than a simple traversal tool: mastering its reach and momentum is central to navigating the game’s handcrafted rooms.

The adventure unfolds across hundreds of rooms, with environmental manipulation shaping how each area is approached. Distinct biomes introduce their own gameplay mechanics, encouraging you to adapt your movement and problem-solving as you progress. Each region also features a boss encounter, adding larger tests to the platforming challenges. Designed for solo play, Croak focuses on demanding, skill-based exploration in a compact indie format, rewarding precise control and persistence as you work through its varied environments.
