What’s Armatus about?
Armatus is a single-player third-person roguelite shooter set among the demon-infested ruins of Paris. You play the last supernatural warrior of an ancient order, combining powerful firearms with celestial abilities while searching the ruined city for the Sunless Gate, a lost passage to heaven.
Its roguelite structure places repeated expeditions at the heart of the adventure, while the shooter framework gives those runs an immediate combat focus. The contrast between gunfire and supernatural power defines the protagonist’s arsenal, and the devastated Parisian setting supplies the larger purpose: scour the ruins, confront demonic threats and pursue the gateway that may connect the world to something beyond it.
