Vita3K Build 4183 is available for desktop systems and Android

Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux, macOS and Android. Its continuous channel now provides Build 4183, associated with commit 41cac41ade11c639e2b692ee0699c5b8f786744d. The build was published on October 15, 2026.

This is a rolling development build rather than a stable release. The supplied release notes contain no feature list, bug-fix summary or compatibility changes, so no specific user-facing changes can be reported for Build 4183. Users should treat it as a current development snapshot and expect the crashes, glitches, low compatibility and poor performance listed among the project’s known limitations.

Available downloads

The build includes packages for several host platforms. Windows users can choose the standard package or an ARM64 package. macOS downloads are available in separate Apple silicon and general versions. Linux users can choose x86_64 or ARM64 downloads, including ZIP and AppImage packages where provided. An Android APK is also included.

These are host-platform applications: Vita3K emulates the PlayStation Vita rather than running on a PlayStation Vita console. The project says the emulator currently runs most homebrew programs and commercial games, while separate compatibility pages provide more detailed information about supported software. Results can vary by game, device and build.

What Vita3K does

Vita3K recreates the PlayStation Vita software environment so compatible Vita homebrew and games can run on a computer or Android device. The project’s documentation showcases software including Persona 4 Golden, A Rose in the Twilight, Alone with You, VA-11 HALL-A, Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride. These examples provide project context rather than a compatibility guarantee for Build 4183.

The project recommends keeping graphics drivers up to date. Its documented platform requirements list the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015–2022 Redistributable for Windows, OpenGL or Vulkan runtime libraries and xdg-desktop-portal for Linux, and suitable Adreno drivers may be needed on Android devices using that hardware.

A development build with limited change information

The continuous release record identifies Build 4183 and its source commit, but does not explain what changed from the previous build. It is therefore best understood as the latest published development snapshot, not as a release with documented new features or resolved issues.

Vita3K is licensed under GPLv2. Its project documentation also provides a quick-start guide, compatibility resources and community support for setup and troubleshooting. The project remains under active development and warns users to expect crashes, graphical glitches, low compatibility and poor performance.
