Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is a single-player role-playing adventure and turn-based strategy game following Estelle after the events of the preceding chapter. When Joshua reveals the painful truth about his past and disappears, Estelle sets out to find him, carrying his harmonica and relying on her determination. Her search expands beyond a personal rescue mission as danger gathers across the Kingdom of Liberl.
Estelle and returning and new companions become entangled with Ouroboros, a sinister society whose plans threaten to plunge the kingdom into chaos. The journey combines character-focused storytelling with turn-based battles and a continent-spanning investigation. Crises involving the capital, a massive airship and the Shining Ring draw the party into a wider conspiracy, making the search for Joshua inseparable from Liberl’s struggle for survival.
