Grand Theft Auto VI is building a criminal world larger than any single gang roster. Rockstar’s official material places Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos inside a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida, while its character pages introduce smugglers, bank robbers, music executives, performers and former street operators. The available footage also shows coordinated armed groups whose identities have not been explained.

That does not mean every criminal character belongs to a named faction. Rockstar has been specific in some places and deliberately broad in others. As of September 25, 2026, the PTT Youngin$ are the only gang explicitly identified by name in the official material reviewed for this article. Other confirmed organizations are businesses, musical acts, criminal operations or unnamed crews rather than gangs.

This index uses a narrow standard. It includes groups Rockstar names directly, organizations Rockstar describes unambiguously and criminal networks attached to officially profiled characters. It does not turn fan theories, leaked development footage, trailer guesses or community database entries into facts.

Evidence note: This article excludes leaked material and does not treat fan-listed groups such as San4San, Final Chapter MC or the Guardia Brothers as confirmed GTA VI factions. Rockstar may officially identify more groups before the November 19, 2026 launch, but a faction name remains unconfirmed until an authoritative source publishes or unambiguously identifies it.

What counts as confirmed?

There are several levels of evidence in Rockstar’s current GTA VI rollout. The strongest is a direct official name and classification, such as Rockstar calling the PTT Youngin$ a gang. A second level is an official description of an organization or operation, such as Only Raw Records being presented as a recording label or Brian Heder being described as a drug runner operating in the Keys.

Official footage can also establish that an organized group appears on screen. It cannot necessarily tell us what that group is called, who leads it or whether it has a permanent role in the story. An armed group in a trailer is not automatically a gang, and a character standing beside other criminals is not proof that they belong to one formal organization.

The difference matters because the word faction suggests more than a collection of people. It can imply a shared identity, territory, hierarchy, rivalry or gameplay system. Rockstar has not yet confirmed that GTA VI will include a San Andreas-style territory-capture mechanic, a persistent gang-war loop or a formal recruitment and reputation system.

The PTT Youngin$ are the clearest confirmed gang in GTA VI. Rockstar’s Ultimate Edition material identifies them as one of Southside Vice City’s loudest and most socially active gangs. That wording does more than identify a group in the background: it gives the PTT Youngin$ an official name, location and classification.

Rockstar also connects the gang to an Illegal Goods Store or compound in Southside Vice City. The official edition material says the PTT Youngin$ grow premium hydroponic products there. The current store and support descriptions use both “Illegal Goods Store” and “PTT Youngin$ Compound” in their presentation of the Ultimate Edition benefit, establishing a named location associated with the gang.

The official material further describes content involving Jason and Lucia raiding the PTT Youngin$ location for special items and distinct contraband. That confirms that the gang’s compound is part of the material Rockstar is offering as an Ultimate Edition-related benefit. It does not prove that the entire PTT Youngin$ storyline is exclusive to that edition, and it does not reveal every mission involving the group.

The available information is still limited. Rockstar has not published a complete membership list, named a leader, drawn a territory map or explained whether the PTT Youngin$ can recruit the protagonists. It has also not confirmed a rivalry with another named gang. The defensible conclusion is narrower: the PTT Youngin$ are an officially named Southside Vice City gang with a hydroponic operation and a compound connected to Jason and Lucia’s criminal activities.

Rockstar’s central GTA VI description says Jason and Lucia become caught in a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida after an easy score goes wrong. This is the broadest officially confirmed criminal network in the game’s public story setup.

The wording establishes a conspiracy, but it does not give that conspiracy a formal title. Rockstar has not published its membership, hierarchy, leader, objectives or relationship with the PTT Youngin$. It would therefore be inaccurate to treat every criminal character introduced so far as a member of one unified organization.

The conspiracy is best understood as story context rather than a confirmed faction name. It may connect several operations, but the public material does not say how. The PTT Youngin$, Brian Heder’s associates, Raul Bautista’s crew and the people around Vice City’s music businesses should remain separate entries until Rockstar explicitly links them.

He continues moving product through his boat yard and has been around long enough to let other people handle much of the dirty work.

The official character description also says Brian lets Jason live rent-free at one of his properties in exchange for helping with local shakedowns. Separately, Rockstar describes Jason as someone who grew up around grifters and crooks and later worked for local drug runners in the Keys. Cal Hampton is identified as Jason’s friend and a fellow associate of Brian’s.

These details confirm a criminal network around Brian: there is a smuggling business, a boat yard, local shakedown work and at least two associates connected to it. They do not establish a conventional street gang. Rockstar has not named Brian’s organization, specified its territory beyond the Keys setting or described a formal structure.

Brian’s operation should therefore be listed as an unnamed smuggling network. It is an important part of Jason’s background and the game’s criminal ecosystem, but calling it a confirmed gang would add a classification Rockstar has not supplied.

The character material also says Raul’s recklessness raises the stakes with every score and refers to his crew.

That is enough to confirm an organized robbery circle around Raul. It is not enough to identify the crew as a named gang. Rockstar has not published a title for the group, a complete roster, a territory or a stated relationship with the PTT Youngin$ or the wider criminal conspiracy.

The distinction is particularly important because the word “crew” does not automatically mean “gang.” A professional robbery team may be temporary, specialized or organized around a single leader rather than a neighborhood identity. Raul’s group should therefore be indexed as an officially described but unnamed robbery crew.

Rockstar’s public material also does not establish whether Jason and Lucia join Raul’s crew, oppose it or merely cross paths with it. The confirmed evidence supports organized robbery activity and Raul’s role within it, but not a complete faction storyline.

Only Raw Records is a confirmed organization in GTA VI, but Rockstar presents it as a recording label rather than a gang. Boobie Ike is described as a Vice City figure whose empire spans real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. His partnership with the aspiring music mogul Dre’Quan Priest is focused on Only Raw Records and the search for a hit.

Dre’Quan’s official profile adds more context. Rockstar describes him as a hustler who once dealt on the streets while aiming to break into music. He has signed Real Dimez to Only Raw Records and is trying to build a place in the Vice City music scene.

The label’s criminal connections are clear, but those connections do not change its classification. Boobie’s empire grew out of street activity, and Dre’Quan has a background in dealing, yet Rockstar does not call Only Raw Records a gang or give it a territorial role. It is a music business operating in a city where legitimate and illicit enterprises overlap.

Only Raw Records belongs in a broader GTA VI organizations index because it connects Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest and Real Dimez. It should not be counted among the confirmed gangs.

The official description says an early hit with local rapper DWNPLY helped take Real Dimez to new heights. After five years and considerable trouble, the pair are signed to Only Raw Records and hoping to repeat that success. Their history is therefore tied to criminal activity, music and online celebrity.

That combination makes Real Dimez relevant to GTA VI’s criminal-social landscape, but Rockstar presents them as a musical act. Nothing in the public material identifies Real Dimez as a street gang, assigns them territory or gives them a formal leadership structure. Their past dealings with local criminals are part of their backstory, not proof that the act itself is a gang.

Real Dimez should be recorded as an officially confirmed musical organization with criminal connections. That classification is more precise and avoids turning every group with a criminal history into a faction.

Rockstar’s official media library includes an Extended Look presented as GTA VI footage, alongside trailers, character clips and screenshots. The footage shows coordinated action involving armed participants and law-enforcement-style responses. It is useful evidence that organized armed groups appear in the game.

However, visual presence is not the same as official identification. Rockstar has not assigned a public faction name to every armed group shown in the Extended Look. The footage does not establish whether a particular group belongs to the PTT Youngin$, Raul Bautista’s crew, Brian Heder’s operation, the wider conspiracy or an organization that has not yet been described.

The same caution applies to trailer scenes. A group of armed characters may be involved in a robbery, raid or confrontation, but the scene alone cannot confirm its ideology, leadership, territory or permanent gameplay function. Officially shown is the correct label when the footage confirms the group’s presence but not its identity.

This category is still valuable. It tells readers that GTA VI’s world includes coordinated armed groups without pretending Rockstar has already published a complete faction chart. The evidence may become more specific as additional character pages, trailers or gameplay material arrive before launch.

San4San, Final Chapter MC, the Guardia Brothers and several other names appear in fan databases, guides and community discussions about GTA VI. Those names should not be included in the confirmed index based on the official Rockstar material reviewed for this article.

San4San is often presented by fan sources as a Vice City gang, while Final Chapter MC is commonly described as a motorcycle club. The Guardia Brothers also appear in community-maintained faction lists. None has received the same clear official naming and classification treatment Rockstar has given the PTT Youngin$ in its public GTA VI pages.

That does not prove these groups will not appear in the finished game. It means only that their status is unconfirmed. A name repeated across multiple fan sites remains a rumor or community identification until Rockstar publishes it or unambiguously identifies the group in authoritative material.

Leak-derived lists require an even higher level of caution. The 2022 stolen development footage may contain early ideas, placeholder content or material that changed during development. It should not be treated as a current, launch-ready faction roster and is not used as evidence here.

What remains unknown before launch

Rockstar has not released a complete GTA VI gang roster. It has also not confirmed a system in which players capture neighborhoods, recruit gang members, build faction reputation or take control of criminal businesses. Those features may be plausible within the series, but prior games and fan expectations are not evidence that they are in GTA VI.

The public material does not establish which groups are rivals, who controls each neighborhood, whether the PTT Youngin$ have enemies, or whether Jason and Lucia can formally join or lead a criminal organization. It also does not explain whether Brian’s operation, Raul’s crew and the wider conspiracy are allies, competitors or unrelated parts of Leonida’s criminal world.

Rockstar may name more factions before the November 19, 2026 launch. Until then, the evidence supports a layered picture rather than a long confirmed gang list: one explicitly named gang, several officially described criminal operations, one confirmed record label, one confirmed musical act and additional armed groups that remain unidentified.

That narrower answer is more useful than repeating every name found in community databases. GTA VI clearly has a dense network of crime and influence, but Rockstar has not yet converted that network into a complete public faction system.

Beyond that group, Rockstar has confirmed a broader criminal ecosystem rather than a full gang chart. Brian Heder’s smuggling operation, Raul Bautista’s robbery crew, Only Raw Records and Real Dimez all have clear places in the game’s world, but they should retain their more precise classifications. Criminal history alone does not make a music label or musical act a gang.

Official footage adds organized armed groups without identifying every faction on screen. San4San, Final Chapter MC, the Guardia Brothers and leak-derived rosters remain outside the confirmed record. That may change before November 19, 2026, but the current evidence supports caution rather than a longer invented list.
