What’s Control Resonant about?
Control Resonant is a single-player action-adventure RPG set in a warped Manhattan threatened by a reality-altering cosmic crisis. Players take the role of Dylan Faden, who has spent years confined by the Federal Bureau of Control and is now being used to confront the supernatural emergency. With the city overwhelmed by forces that distort the rules of reality, Dylan must fight to survive while trying to preserve his humanity.
The combat combines hack-and-slash and beat-’em-up action with Dylan’s extraordinary powers. He faces the Hiss, the invasive Mold and other paranatural threats across broad urban zones, taking the conflict beyond the Bureau’s familiar stronghold. Alongside battling enemies, Dylan seeks his sister, Jesse Faden, the FBC’s director, and works to understand the disaster spreading through the city. Exploration, supernatural combat and character-driven mystery come together in a sequel centered on escalating forces that are difficult to contain.
