What’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 about?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is a first-person shooter built around a conflict on the Korean Peninsula. Its single-player campaign presents two connected perspectives: Private Park, a young South Korean soldier experiencing his first combat deployment, and Captain Price, who operates outside official channels while pursuing a personal mission. As the invasion destabilizes the region, the two strands of the narrative move toward the forces driving the wider conflict.
Beyond the campaign, the game includes competitive and cooperative forms of play. Multiplayer features traditional six-versus-six maps alongside larger battlefields with vehicles, offering different scales of combat. A dynamic system called Kill Block can reshape map layouts between rounds, changing how familiar spaces are approached. The package also includes a DMZ extraction mode, adding a mode focused on entering dangerous areas, securing objectives or resources, and getting out. Together, these components frame the game as a military shooter with a story campaign, varied multiplayer formats, and a separate extraction-focused experience.
