What’s Wanderburg about?
Wanderburg is a minimalist medieval roguelike built around a striking idea: your fortress has wheels. Rather than marching a conventional hero across the countryside, you steer a mobile castle into battles against rival strongholds, turning siege warfare into the central form of exploration and progression.
Each victory lets the roaming fortress grow stronger. Villages can be devoured for resources, while modular siege weapons and arcane machinery expand its destructive capabilities. The single-player structure emphasizes repeated runs and gradual development, giving every crushed stronghold a role in shaping the castle’s arsenal. Its combination of role-playing progression, fortress customization and oversized medieval machinery creates a focused take on the roguelike formula.
