About this set
2026 Topps Five Star Baseball is built around an autograph-heavy format, with Leaderboard Legend and Apex Autographs added to the year’s signing lineup. The release also includes One-of-One Rookie Cap cards featuring MLB Logoman and side-logo patches from in-season hats, giving the product a distinct memorabilia element alongside the signed content.
Autograph themes to watch
The clearest identity point for this release is the autograph program. Leaderboard Legend and Apex Autographs both debut in the year’s signing lineup, giving collectors two distinct directions to chase. Five Star remains a product where the signed cards are the main draw rather than the base card component.
Memorabilia cards and collecting choices
The other confirmed feature is the One-of-One Rookie Cap cards. Their mix of MLB Logoman and side-logo patches from in-season hats gives the rookie memorabilia cards a very specific look and feel. If you collect by theme, this release offers a clean choice between signature-focused cards and the cap-based rookie pieces, with enough separation in concept to make parallel display goals feel clear even before you start sorting specific cards.
