About this set
2025 Topps Black and White Baseball emphasizes a stripped-back visual style in the base set. The checklist totals 125 cards and ends with 15 Vault Short Prints of retired players, while image variations and two autograph formats give collectors several chase options.
Base set and variations
The base checklist is built around 125 cards and keeps the design language consistent by removing color from the core cards. That makes the photography and composition the main draw, which gives the set a clean, direct feel rather than a busy one. The final 15 cards are Vault Short Prints featuring retired players, so the checklist closes with a separate collecting lane at the back end of the set.
There are also two layers of image variation to watch for: 20 players receive a short-printed image variation, and 10 have an SSP variation.
Autographs and insert choices
The autograph side includes sticker-signed Base Autographs and hard-signed Inked Insert Autographs. The Inked Insert Autographs are limited to 10 high-profile names and appear in Blue Ink (/5) and Gold Ink (/1) versions.
Insert cards mainly follow photography-based themes.
