About this set
2023 Upper Deck National Hockey Card Day is an Upper Deck hockey release tied to the National Hockey Card Day name. For collectors, it works best as a standalone seasonal issue, especially if you organize by year and promo theme rather than by team or player.
What this release is
This set carries the 2023 year in the title. That makes it a useful companion piece for collectors who want a clean year marker in binders or player and team runs without treating it like a larger flagship-style build.
How to approach collecting it
A practical way to collect it is to treat it as a date-specific promo set rather than a large base product. If you build by event type, this belongs with the rest of your National Hockey Card Day material. If you build by player or team, it works as a focused side project that adds a year-stamped checkpoint without requiring a full season chase.
