About this set
2023 SP Game Used CFL Football is an Upper Deck release centered on Canadian football autographs and memorabilia cards. Its confirmed identity is straightforward: a compact collecting option built around signed cards and game-used uniform swatches, with the memorabilia pieces tied to actual uniforms rather than event-style material.
Collector focus
This set’s appeal is its direct approach. The checklist is described as uncomplicated, which makes it easier to target the parts of the release that matter most to a collector: autographs and memorabilia cards. For people building a CFL collection, that clarity can be useful because the product does not try to stretch into a lot of different directions.
The game-used material is a confirmed feature of the memorabilia cards. That gives the swatches a clear collecting identity, especially for anyone who prefers pieces with a direct tie to on-field use.
How to approach it
A sensible way to collect this release is to decide early whether you want to focus on autograph cards, memorabilia cards, or a mix of both. Since the product is built around those categories, narrowing your target can make it easier to build a focused collection without chasing every card in the set.
If you already collect CFL singles, this release fits as a practical add-on rather than a sprawling chase. The main strength is its straightforward structure and its emphasis on Canadian football content that stays close to the game.
