About the movie
In 1930s colonial Australia two swaggering outlaws arrive in a mining town and unleash a wave of cruelty, pushing two siblings who have been forced to work as child labourers by their white masters to escape. The children trek across the desert “sweet country” of central Australia searching for safety, a way home and the truth about themselves and their family. Featuring Deborah Mailman and its young actors, Wolfram is an outback Western and historical drama about survival, reckoning, resilience and love.
