About the movie
Based on Isabella Tree’s best-selling book, Wilding follows a young couple who take on a failing, four-hundred-year-old estate and decide to risk its future by restoring nature. They confront entrenched local tradition as they take down fences, return the land to the wild, and entrust recovery to a motley mix of tame and wild animals. Their actions initiate a major rewilding experiment that becomes one of the most significant in Europe.
