About the movie
Characters: Noelle Al Saffan, a newly divorced true-crime aficionado who recently lost a child, and an unidentified teenage girl whose lifeless body is found in the desert and goes unclaimed. The central situation is that the body remains unnamed while a ticking clock threatens to relegate the death to a cold case. Obsessed, Noelle immerses herself in the investigation. She peels back layers of a mystery woven into a traditional society in transition, where women are carving out more space and control over their destinies.
