About the movie
Characters: Ratty, Mole, Badger and Toad. Situation: Mole abandons spring-cleaning to go boating with the Water Rat (Ratty) and encounters the river, the Wild Wood and new experiences. Central conflict: Toad’s craze for fast travel drives the group into a whirl of trains, barges, gypsy caravans and motor cars. The friends’ lives are swept into successive adventures and even into battle.
