About the movie
Characters: Sofia, location scout; erratic employers; various New York City residents. Situation: Sofia spends a day driving through neighborhoods finding homes, businesses and exteriors for a TV pilot, entering private apartments and shops to photograph them. Central conflict: she must balance the demands of her unpredictable employers with respecting strangers’ private spaces, a routine day that ultimately turns unexpectedly personal. Along the way she observes moments of curiosity, vulnerability and quiet tension in others.
