About the movie
Characters: a man who called himself “Jesus,” the hosts and crew of a Los Angeles public access talk show, and the broader media that documents him. Situation: VHS tapes bought at a Florida storage auction include three episodes of the show, behind-the-scenes reels, and TV news reports. Central conflict: he returns to a disturbed, distracted world to spread a message of peace, love, hope and forgiveness but is largely ignored and ridiculed by the media. The tapes chronicle his interview on public access TV and the news coverage that followed.
