After the finale of his HBO series How To with John Wilson, NYC documentarian John Wilson turns his attention to concrete, the ubiquitous building material that underpins the city. He aims to make a definitive documentary and, after attending a workshop on writing and selling Hallmark movies, adopts that industry formula to broaden its appeal. His project then confronts a mounting conflict as his literal and figurative foundation begins to crumble, forcing him to juggle artistic freedom against the realities of the modern film industry.
