About the movie
Characters: Detective Julie Miller, former prison chaplain Father William, rookie detective Gina Restrepo, and the satanic killer Father Sunday, with references to historical killers like H.H. Holmes and the Zodiac. Thirteen years after she ended Father Sunday’s reign, Miller is pulled back when a new murderer writes her name in an altar boy’s blood in a church crypt. With Father William—who heard Father Sunday’s final confession—and Restrepo, Miller uncovers a filament linking a lineage of serial killers that threatens the people and life she loves.
