About the movie
Characters: Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi, his fiancée, dissidents around the world, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Situation: Khashoggi, a vocal critic of Saudi policies, went into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2, 2018 and did not come out. Central conflict: his death prompts his partner and activists to assemble evidence of his brutal murder and, in doing so, uncover an alleged global cover-up by the country he loved.
