About the movie
Characters: Mungo (a young mole), his proud father, the townsfolk, an evil gold‑obsessed supervillain called 'The Boss', and Mungo’s crazy friends. Situation: Mungo is expected to join his father in the town’s legendary gold mine but secretly dreams of becoming a professional soccer player; the mine closes after a mysterious accident. Central conflict: 'The Boss' pressures the town to sell the mine while Mungo races toward the Wild Cup finals in Russia and a final showdown with 'The Boss.' Mungo and his friends launch an epic, dangerous adventure mixing thrills, laughs and action as he pursues his football dream and confronts the villain.
