About the movie
Characters include Holt, a brilliant but ruthless visionary, his ambitious assistant Liv, and a team of scientists who unveil a space-bending engine as a last hope in a future on the brink of collapse; the first test ends in disaster, the project is shut down and its creators are disgraced. Refusing to let their work vanish, Holt and Liv turn to the criminal underworld to rebuild the device and run afoul of the law as they race against time. The engine shifts from a chance at survival into an obsession that could either save humanity or unleash something far worse.
