About the movie
Characters: Gemma. Situation: After a painful breakup she leaves her small town for Los Angeles and takes an overnight job at Somnium, a mysterious experimental sleep clinic where dreams are made real. Central conflict: Gemma hopes to rebuild her life and break into success while confronting the uncertain consequences of working at a clinic that makes dreams tangible.
Following the breakup, Gemma moves to Los Angeles to pursue bigger opportunities and supports herself by working nights at Somnium. As she tries to get on her feet and chase a chance at success, she must navigate the strange, reality‑altering work environment of the clinic.
