About the movie
Characters include Francine, a Los Angeles–based social scientist, and a coalition of advocates, midwives and doctors who in 2014 launched Plan C to spread information about how and where to buy abortion pills online. Between 2020 and the overturning of Roe in 2022 they built distribution pipelines and expanded non‑clinic access nationwide. Their work provoked criticism even as it increased availability, and they continued to pursue broader access and future solutions.
