About the movie
Characters: Koushirou, the cult leader; Kotaro Shiozaki (Koshu Hirano), a temple guard; Kikuma (Kanon Miyahara), a lady ninja; and a gigantic, otherworldly shark. Situation: In Edo‑period Okitsu, Koushirou uses ninjutsu to control sharks and target pearl divers so the cult can take their pearls. Central conflict: The village hires Kotaro to stop the attacks, but his mission is obstructed by Kikuma and the monstrous shark as he tries to protect the divers and end Koushirou’s scheme.
