About the movie
The principal characters are supermodel Kate Moss, portrayed by Ellie Bamber, and artist Lucian Freud, played by Derek Jacobi. Freud proposes to paint Moss’s portrait, bringing the two together in an intimate creative encounter. That offer prompts Moss to confront and explore her own identity; the film follows her inward journey of self-discovery as she responds to being seen and represented.
