About the movie
Characters: Molly (Posy Sterling), a young mother just released from prison after four months, and Amina (Idil Ahmed), her childhood friend and fellow single mother. Situation: Molly expects to reclaim her children from foster care immediately but faces a legal and practical bind. Central conflict: she cannot secure housing because her children are not living with her, and she cannot regain custody without a home.
