About the movie
Klara is an Artificial Friend who wants nothing more than to find the perfect home; she meets Josie, and the two immediately sense a kinship. Josie lives with her mother and their relationship is fraught after they have suffered great loss. The central conflict revolves around that strained mother–daughter bond and Josie’s complicated world. Klara’s innocent wonder and unwavering loyalty begin to heal the family and bring light to Josie’s life.
