About the movie
Characters: Sawa; a Svengali-like detective who controls homeless children he employs; the group of homeless youths used as his operatives. Situation: After her parents are murdered, the detective removes Sawa from the streets and trains her to kill. Central conflict: she is forced to carry out his chosen killings while trying to break free of his control, ultimately seeking escape from his manipulation.
