About the movie
A stranger arrives over the mountain carrying little more than sheer determination. Isak, a man without a past, searches for a place to settle and to carve a life from the earth. High above the tree line he finds a barren stretch of land, as unforgiving as it is promising. The land pushes him to his limits until he meets Inger, a solitary woman formed by resilience and quiet secrets. Together they endure the elements, cultivate the soil, and raise a family as the seasons turn. But as years pass and the world closes in, time, hardship, and desire reshape them, leaving the question: is love forever?
