About the movie
Travis, recently divorced, moves back into his childhood house to live with his eccentric, newly sober mother, Evelyn. While accompanying her to an AA meeting he encounters Billie, a wildly alive woman who pulls him out of his rut. Despite Evelyn’s objections, Travis develops a close friendship with Billie, and their relationship forces the three of them to face personal flaws and learn to accept one another.
