About the movie
Characters: Garance, a talented but unrecognized actress; her sick younger sister; and Pauline, a new romantic partner. Situation: Garance lives paycheck to paycheck in a small Paris apartment, struggling with rising anxiety, strained relationships and an escalating alcohol addiction. Those close ties — her caregiving for her sister and a tender romance with Pauline — give her a fragile lifeline that pushes her to confront the darkness and begin a difficult, transformative path toward self-renewal.
