About the movie
Characters: Jean Monier, a disillusioned lawyer, and Nicolas Milik, accused of murdering his wife. Situation: Monier is appointed to defend Milik despite mounting evidence against him. Central conflict: Monier becomes convinced of Milik’s innocence and must prove it while facing growing personal pressure. Monier digs into the murder night and family relationships, and as he grows closer to his client the case becomes a severe test of his judgment and resolve.
