About the movie
Characters: 12-year-old Jacob, his mother, a neglected golden retriever he names Buddy, and Jacob’s deceased father. After his father's death they move into the father’s childhood home in Fernfield, where Jacob finds an original Air Bud VHS and meets Buddy. Together they heal, rally a team of misfits, and pursue a basketball championship while learning to play from the heart, believe in each other, and take the shot.
