About the movie
Characters: Kevin (Stephen Oates) and his pregnant wife (Liane Balaban). Situation and central conflict: Kevin, an Irish moss farmer on Prince Edward Island, finds a bag of money washed up on the shore and decides to keep it secret; as the money’s owners come calling, the quiet fishing village becomes a growing crime scene. Committed to traditional ways and trying to provide for his family, Kevin must wrestle with the danger and temptation the found cash brings and whether holding on to the past is worth the cost.
