What’s Valor Mortis about?
Valor Mortis is a first-person action game with soulslike and role-playing elements. You rise from death as a former soldier of Napoleon’s army, entering a world threatened by horrifying monsters and a conspiracy with consequences for all of humanity. Its historical foundation is paired with supernatural danger, giving the journey a grim, otherworldly atmosphere.
The game centers on direct combat viewed from the first person, with supernatural powers adding another dimension to encounters. You fight through hostile situations while gradually uncovering the forces behind the larger crisis. Exploration and narrative discovery accompany the battles, and the role-playing framework supports a sense of growth as your character confronts increasingly terrible threats.
