What’s Gears of War: E-Day about?
Gears of War: E-Day is a shooter adventure focused on the catastrophic arrival of the Locust Horde. Fourteen years before the events of Gears of War, Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago return home only to confront subterranean creatures emerging beneath human settlements. Their arrival transforms a homecoming into the opening struggle of a devastating war.
The game presents Emergence Day through Marcus’s perspective, emphasizing the horror and violence of humanity’s first encounter with the Locust. It supports solo play, multiplayer, and co-operative action, allowing the conflict to be experienced alone or with others. Its premise combines a character-driven origin story with brutal combat against an overwhelming new enemy.
