What’s Castlevania: Belmont's Curse about?
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is a single-player platforming adventure that combines role-playing elements with hack-and-slash combat. In 1499, Paris is consumed by flames as monstrous creatures emerge, drawing a Belmont into the burning city and toward the ominous castle beyond it. The mission is to stop the devastation before the invasion overwhelms the city.
The story follows Trevor Belmont’s successor, who carries the legendary Vampire Killer holy whip into the fight. Along the way, she is joined by Rose Belmont, Trevor’s daughter, as the pair confront the creatures spreading through Paris. Platforming challenges and close-quarters battles shape the journey through the endangered streets and the looming castle, while the family connection gives the adventure a personal stake. Its gothic setting, supernatural enemies and whip-focused combat place the latest Belmont struggle firmly in the series’ tradition of monster hunting.
